Seminar on Plagiarism, Copyright, AI, and Published Work
CBS PhD School has joined forces with Joshua Kragh Amudzidis-Bruhn from CBS Library and Jade Yang Faurschou from CBS Legal to host a seminar on plagiarism, copyright, AI and the use of published work.
The seminar is for all CBS PhD students and will take place in SP112 (Solbjerg Plads) on 21 November at 9.30 – 12.30 including networking, sandwich and a water/soda.
Please sign up no later than 17 November 2025.
The following topics will be covered in the seminar:
- What is plagiarism and how do I avoid self-plagiarism?
- Correct referencing
- Introduction to copyright
- Text similarity screening
- AI in your research
- The Vancouver Principles on author- and contributorship
- Co-author statements
- Using published work in the PhD thesis
- Publishing articles from the PhD thesis
In order to make the seminar as relevant as possible, we invite you to send in your questions before the seminar.
